What is a virtual PBX and what benefits does it offer your business

A virtual PBX is a phone system that handles your company's calls from the cloud, with no hardware to install or maintain on your premises. Instead of a physical PBX, all the call logic (forwarding, queues, voice menus, recordings) runs on the operator's servers and is accessed over the internet.

How it works

Calls travel over the internet using VoIP (voice over IP) technology. Your extensions can be IP phones, computers or mobiles, and they work the same from the office, from home or on the move. All you need is an internet connection.

Advantages over traditional telephony

  • No hardware or maintenance: forget about the physical PBX and its breakdowns.
  • Scalable: add or remove extensions in minutes as your team grows.
  • Mobility: your team answers calls from anywhere with the same number.
  • Advanced features: IVR (voice menus), queues, call recording, real-time stats.
  • Predictable cost: a monthly fee instead of equipment investments.

Is it right for my business?

Whether you have a team of 3 or 300, a virtual PBX adapts to your size. It is especially useful for companies with remote work, multiple sites or customer support.
